Zachary Profozich is the University of Alabama engineering graduate who is accused of shooting Indiana University student Schuyler Bradley dead in Tuscaloosa. The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. on October 16 in the area around the University of Alabama known as the Strip. Schuyler Bradley was 19 years old.

Profozich, 22, is charged with murder in connection with the shooting. When Profozich was first arrested on the afternoon of October 17th, he was charged with attempted murder. Bradley died at the Druid City Hospital District Medical Center on the morning of October 18th.

Profozich said he recently worked at The Bear Trap rooftop bar in the Strip neighborhood as part of the support team.
Bradley Suspect GoFundMe page
A GoFundMe page was originally created to help Bradley’s family pay for medical expenses related to his treatment. A passage on the page says that Bradley’s mother, Daphne, died in his arms. “I have lost the words. I never wanted this fundraising event to go to Schuyler’s funeral.” At the time of writing, the page approached $ 45,000. The target of the page is $ 50,000.
Profozich was held in a $ 150,000 bond. Bloomingtonian reported on October 17 that Bradley received life support and was not expected to live.
The police believe the couple argued before they were shot. The source of the dispute has not been made public. Bradley’s original post on the GoFundMe page said Bradley’s friend had an argument and the victim defended another man when he was shot. The conflict is being investigated by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit. Violent Crimes Unit Captain Jack Kennedy told the media on October 17th via Tuscaloosa News that Profozoich was released from Tuscaloosa County Prison in exchange for bonds.
