During this Coronavirus pandemic, many are tempted to fear, anxious and perhaps even despair. Some have suffered through the debilitating effects of this illness, some have lost their jobs, their income, most have encountered much disruption to the normal flow of their daily lives, and many have lost their precious lives, some have lost those whom they love. As a FRONTLINER in this COVID-19, we need to sacrifice many things as we don’t know what will going to happen today, tomorrow and the coming days. We do all our best to care for all those suffering from this virus without the proper protection and equipments in our workplace (Hospital) knowing that we are very susceptible of being infected. My sister Araceli Buendia Ilagan, a Nurse in Miami, Florida since 1981 was a victim of this Covid-19. She was nursing those patients with the said virus in their hospital and unfortunately contracted and became unwell. She preferred to self-isolate for days however she lost her battle and sadly passed away early this morning. My dearest sister, we admired you for your dedication on your profession. We are very, very proud of you. You’re a true “Hero” in this fight against Covid-19. We love you so much and you will be in our hearts forever. We know you’re in the good hands of our merciful and loving Lord now. Eternal rest grant unto the soul of our dearest sister Araceli O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen
