Warrenton Shooting at Walmart Today
The initial reports said the shooting occurred at Home Depot, but it now turns out that the shooting occurred at the Walmart parking lot nearby, the television station reported. Google Maps shows that Walmart is next door to the Home Depot. The shooting victims are a man and a woman.

A woman and a man were shot in the parking lot of a Walmart in Fauquier County, Virginia, Tuesday, authorities say.
A spokesperson for the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened at 700 James Madison Highway in Warrenton.

The man and woman were shot and then jumped into a car and went to the nearby Home Depot parking lot across on Alwington Boulevard, the spokesperson said. They called 911 and medics took them to a hospital.
Their conditions are unclear at this time.

Police say at around 5:15 p.m., a man and a woman were inside of a car when they were shot in the parking lot at a Walmart. They then drove to a Home Depot to report the shooting.
The man and the woman were later transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It was originally believed the victims were shot in the Home Depot parking lot but it has since been learned that they were shot in the Walmart parking lot and drove to Home Depot looking for help.
Police are working to locate the suspect at this time.
