has been arrested after video surfaced of a fight between a staff member and at least one student Friday morning at Largo High School in Prince George’s County.

The fight took place on Friday at 10:25 at school. Police say the student confronted Noirie after the teacher called her parents the night before.
Investigators say that the 17-year-old student was upset with the teacher for calling the student’s parents the night before and approached the teacher. During that conversation, the student reportedly admitted to stepping on the teacher’s foot and bumping into the teacher with her shoulder.
The teacher then repeatedly struck the student. School employees stepped in and broke up the fight. Once they were separated, the student reportedly grabbed the teacher from behind and struck her before being separated again.
Police say the student grabbed Noirie from behind and hit her repeatedly after they separated. Officers declined to comment.
The school website identifies Noirie as a Spanish teacher.

Noirie is being charged with physical child abuse and second-degree assault.
Because the student is a juvenile, police are not releasing any further details regarding the nature of the charges detectives are pursuing against the student.
