Investigations
Saleh was stabbed to death, after which he was beheaded and dismembered in his apartment. His remains were discovered on Tuesday by his sister, who went to make sure he was fine after not being able to contact him that morning or the day before.
Investigators believe Saleh was killed Monday in his luxurious multi-million dollar Manhattan apartment where he was stabbed after being immobilized with an electric shock pistol.
When the police came home, they found the body of Saleh, but his head and limbs were found in other parts of the apartment, some in plastic bags.
In addition to a variety of kitchen utensils and cleaning products, an electric saw was also found that was used to smash the body still attached.
The alleged killer returned to the apartment on Tuesday and was probably interrupted by the victim’s sister, trying to discard Salih’s body and clean the crime scene, according to researchers.
“The body was not found,” a police representative told People magazine. “(Saleh) would disappear.”
Images from a building surveillance camera showed how a man wearing a mask and gloves was dressed after Saleh as he entered the elevator.
