Thomas Matthew McVicker was arrested in Indianapolis on Friday, according to a criminal complaint unsealed this week. It’s the most recent case in a string of men being arrested around the country for threatening to carry out shootings.

FBI Investigation Reports and Witness Statements

In advance, this month, a friend of McVicker within the south Alabama metropolis of Fairhope instructed a Florida FBI officer McVicker have been thinking about a mass shooting at a church or killing human beings on the road.

The affidavit doesn’t specify a reason, nor does it discover a selected Memphis church. McVicker’s friend did not study of an actual region from the phone name. But, “McVicker insisted that ‘something’ could take place when he turned into in Memphis,” the affidavit states.

Three Other Suspects Arrested by Cops

Cops arrested three men in separate incidents in Connecticut, Florida, and Ohio after receiving tips from the public.

Brandon Wagshol, 22, was arrested on Thursday in Norwalk, Connecticut after police say he posted on Facebook about wanting to commit a mass shooting. He was charged with four counts of illegal possession of large-capacity magazines and is currently being held on $250,000 bond.

Tristan Scott Wix, 25, was arrested Friday in Daytona Beach Shores after he sent a slew of text messages threatening to commit a mass shooting to his ex-girlfriend, who contacted police

James Reardon Jr, 20, was arrested after threatening to shoot up a Jewish community center in Ohio
