Who is Tavy Pustiu? (Killed By Train) Died in live FB accident
Tavy Pustiu, a Romanian singer, is dead after his car was hit by a train. His wife is in critical condition, according to the U.K.’s The Sun newspaper. The crash was captured live as he streamed it to his social media followers.
The train was driven to the side of the white Ford Fiesta, removing the roof of the vehicle and destroying the passenger side where the musician was sitting.
In the footage, 29-year-old Tavy Pustiu dances to pop-folk “manele” music as she approaches a level crossing in Ploiesti with her wife behind the wheel.
The images obtained afterwards also show how both airbags were activated in the collision and how the windshield was completely wrinkled.
Authorities in Prahova County confirmed that Mr. Pustiu’s unnamed wife died in the accident while his condition was in critical condition.
It is said that he fought for his life in Prahova County Hospital.
Police said, ‘It was announced that a 29-year-old man, a passenger in front of the car, was dead and a 24-year-old man died as a result of the collision between a train and a car while crossing the level … the old woman who was the driver was injured.
According to The Sun, Pustiu, 29, and his wife, 24, who is not named by the authorities, are seen smiling and listening to music in their white Ford Fiesta when a train hits the passenger side of the car. Pustiu spotted the train just before it hit them and let out a scream, but it was too late for them to retreat from the oncoming locomotive.
The aspiring musician was killed on the spot and his wife was hospitalized for life support. First responders had to pull the couple out of the wreckage of their cars.
The two were traveling between Romania’s Maneciu and Ploiesti Sud. A local police spokesperson told The Sun, “It was announced that a 29-year-old man, who was a passenger in front of the car, died after a train collided with a car on a level crossing. The 24-year-old woman who was the driver was injured. The accident occurred due to failure to comply with the rules at the level crossing. ”
In a YouTube video of Pustiu singing with Randu Alberto, fans express their condolences over her death. It seems that Pustiu was a devout man, as several Facebook posts in the past few years cite his belief in God.
He wrote (translated from Romanian) “When the blessed gates opened spontaneously before you know that God intervened for you.”
Another said, “God, I got out of bed again this morning and thank you from the bottom of my heart.” He wrote.
On the third, Pustiu said, “I cannot boast of my love for God because I mockingly disappoint him. But I can boast of his love for me, as he never disappointed me. ”
This Is Not The First Death To Be Broadcasted Live
This is not the first death to be filmed in the age of social media and nowadays. In 2018, Rannita Williams of Shreveport, Louisiana was shot and killed in a Facebook video. A shooting was posted on Facebook in Birmingham, Alabama in April 2020, but thankfully nobody died.
In 2016, a woman committed suicide live on Periscope. And in 2017, a California teenager named Obdulia Sanchez was accused of posting live on Instagram the death of her 14-year-old sister in a car crash caused by Sanchez. He was later sentenced to more than 6 years in prison, despite his parole in late 2019. Less than a month after his release, according to ABC 30, he led a high-speed chase, was arrested and sent back to jail. .
