On Saturday night, the 26-year-old, kickboxer was critically injured at a Fast and Furious Fight Series (FFS) event in Central Hall in Southampton.

Saeideh Aletaha, 26, was seriously injured Saturday night at a Fast and Furious Fight Series (FFS) series event in Central Hall, Southampton.
She was taken to Southampton General Hospital shortly before 9:00 p.m. GMT, but died later, police said.
Hampshire police said they had begun to investigate exactly what happened.
FFS issued a statement on Facebook confirming that Ms. Aletaha had not recovered from her injury and urged all family members and friends to seek support to get in touch.
‘Safe as possible’
It said: “All competitors get in prepared that they may be injured, and this is something not expected to happen 99.9% of the time.
“But, it can, and in this, we make the environment as safe as possible with pre and post medicals from a doctor, and full medical cover throughout.”
It said it had a doctor, paramedic and an ambulance on-site alongside its own team at the event organized by Lookborai and Exile Gym.
“Safety is not something ever skimped on in any of our 19 shows and all matches are made equal,” it added.

An amateur female MMA fighter has died after suffering a fatal injuring during a UK bout.
Saeideh ‘Sai’ Aletaha, 26, suffered a brain injury during the K-1 contest at Central Hall in Southampton on Saturday night and was left in a critical state which she sadly did not recover from.
She was taken to Southampton General Hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning and tragically died later that day.
Police Investigation Reports
Hampshire Police said it had launched an investigation into exactly what happened.
FFS posted a statement on Facebook confirming Ms Aletaha had not recovered from her injury, and urged any family and friends needing support to get in touch.

The light fighter of mixed martial arts described by her friends as a “beautiful soul” participated in the series “Fast & Furious Fight” organized by Lookborai and Exile Gym, in which doctors and paramedics were in the ring.
The teammates paid tribute to Miss Aletaha, a product design engineer at Stannah Stairlifts, who lived in Wiltshire and traveled “miles a day to train.”
A statement on his Facebook page says: “After appearing on Saturday, unfortunately, we have to announce that one of the competitors, Sai Aletaha of Lookborai, who has lost, suffered an injury after one of our games, which he considers tragic Road in a critical state has not recovered from.
Saeideh Aletaha was a beautiful figure with a beautiful soul. His commitment to the sport was 110% of miles traveled each day just to train.
“She found her place with us a few months ago, but she has become part of the family and we miss her very much.
