the suspect has a lengthy arrest history featuring “a half-dozen prior arrests in the last two years, including one for attempted assault with a weapon just five months ago in Brooklyn.”

Randy has had 14 past arrests – including an assault charge from May, four of the arrests are from past year. In November 2018 he was arrested for an assault in which he leaped over a desk at a store on W. 35th Street in Midtown, grabbed a man by the neck, and bit down on his chest.

In May 2019 he was arrested in a men’s shelter in Brooklyn, where he was living at the time, after he attacked a man with a metal object similar to Saturday’s weapon.

He was also arrested in March after for groping a 19-year-old woman in Queens.
