Richard Pilger, former director of the electoral crimes division of the Department of Justice’s Department of Public Integrity, warned his colleagues on November 9 that Barr had published an important new policy that “repealed the then-forty-year No-Intervention Policy for voting fraud investigations in New York. According to Pilger’s resignation email, PIN Vice President Robert J. Heberle will take over as Chief of Election Offenses.

 

As Director of the US Department of Justice’s Election Crime Division, Pilger was responsible for prosecuting illegal campaign finance coordination efforts, Ballotpedia reported.

 

The department “develops, enforces and monitors the enforcement of all federal criminal laws except those specifically assigned to other departments,” according to the criminal authority’s website.

 

Pilger has served on the LinkedIn page since 2010.

 

The Practice Law Institute said Pilger had accumulated more than 25 years of legal experience after graduating from Indiana University Law School.
