FBI arrested multiple people this morning including Honolulu businessman Mike Miske as part of a federal indictment in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a 23-year-old Hawaii Kai man.
The indictment unsealed today named Miske and 10 others charged with multiple offenses. Authorities allege the men engaged in racketeering activity involving murder, kidnapping, arson and robbery.
According to the federal complaint, Miske and others “intentionally, intentionally and deliberately, conspire, conspire, confederate and agree with each other and others to kill Jonathan Fraser.”
The kidnapping allegation took place in July 2016.
Federal prosecutors claim that Miske has offered thousands of dollars to four to kill Fraser. In the complaint, the authorities claimed in June 2016 that he had set up to purchase Boston Whaler for “Fraser dropping into the ocean after Fraser was kidnapped and killed.”
The indictment also alleged that the defendants used “various techniques to prevent law enforcement control of Miske Enterprise’s criminal activities” and included threats and intimidation against potential witnesses.
As part of the investigation, FBI special agents were at home in Kuuna Street in Kailua this morning.

Her son Caleb-Jordan Keanu Miske-Lee died of injuries in a November 2015 car accident in Kaneohe in March 2016.
Miske’s son reportedly blamed the other vehicle’s driver and Fraser for his death in a two-vehicle collision.
Four months after Miske-Lee’s death, family and friends reported that Fraser was missing.
He was last seen on July 30, 2016, at his Hawaii Kai apartment in Keokea Place. Investigators found Fraser’s car a few weeks later at the intersection of Sumner Street and Kuliouou Road.
