Maureen L. O’Connor is the wife of the famous Steve Priest who was a British bass player known as the lead and backing vocalist of the glam rock band Sweet which was a British glam rock and consisted of lead vocalist Brian Connolly, bass player Steve, guitarist Andy Scott, and drummer Mick Tucker. He is also a founding member of the group who rose to worldwide fame in the 1970s, with hits like Block Buster and The Ballroom Blitz.

Priest was a bass player known as the lead and backing vocalist of the glam rock band, Sweet. He was playing bass guitar for the band, and also provided backing vocals and he was known for his distinctive high pitched sound. When Brian Connolly quit the band in 1979, Steve stood in as the lead singer.
Steve was known for his camp delivery. He was the one who sang ‘We haven’t got a clue what to do’ on their number 2 hit from 1973 Blockbuster. Andy Scott is also flying the flag with his version of The Sweet.
