Mark McCloskey and Patricia McCloskey were held in Missouri, Missouri on June 28. Mark McCloskey graduated from magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1982 and studied sociology, criminal justice and psychology before joining Southern Methodist Law University in 1985. He is a citizen of Missouri and graduated from Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day. According to his Facebook profile, the school in Ladue, Missouri, in 1975.

Why St. Louis Couple Pull Guns on Protesters

The St. Louis Police did not comment on whether the investigation into the incident continues or if the couple could face charges. On social media, people wanted the McCloskeys to be arrested and led people to complain to the Missouri bar. According to BuzzFeed News, a St. Louis Police report identifies the couple as victims in the incident and names the news site McCloskeys as police.

“The police report states that the couple observed that when they heard ‘a high turmoil from the street’ they applied to the police and that a large group of people had forcibly broken an iron door marked with the ‘No Intrusion’ and ‘Private Street’ signs, wrote BuzzFeed. “The police said the couple claimed that the protesters were” threatening obscenity and harm for both victims “and” removed their weapons when they observed more than one armed subject. ” According to BuzzFeed News of the officers in the report, any protester was armed or if the gun was directed at the McCloskeys. St. Louis mayor Krewson, the target of the protests, did not comment on the incident.

Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner said in a statement that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. “I am concerned during the weekend when peaceful protesters are greeted with guns and a violent attack. We must protect the right to protest peacefully, and efforts to cool it through intimidation or the threat of deadly power will not be tolerated. ”
