Lucky Miller was Chief of Mannford Police Mannford, Oklahoma, a small town about 20 miles (32 kilometers) west of Tulsa. He was found dead at the Hilton Garden Inn in Pensacola Beach at around 9 pm on Sunday. He had been chief since 2007, according to KTUL.

Michael Nealey who is an Oklahoma Police officer, who has allegedly killed his own police chief during what authorities say was an alcohol-fuelled altercation at a conference in Florida Panhandle.
Around 9 pm on Sunday hotel security was called because the two men were being disruptive, Southard said. Later that evening, the hotel staff called the sheriff’s department because the men were fighting.
‘An actual physical altercation,’ she said.
When deputies arrived, they found Chief Lucky Miller dead, she said, and there was no weapon. She added that alcohol was involved and that an autopsy is underway.

Nealey was being held without bond at the Escambia County Jail. He’s charged with homicide.
Nealey was booked into the Escambia County jail and is being held without bond. Despite Florida’s broad public record laws, his mugshot has not been released because Florida law makes an exemption for cops.
