Louis Ducruet Biography

Louis Robert Paul Ducruet is the son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and Daniel Ducruet. Although he holds no title, he is a grandson of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly. As the nephew of Prince Albert II, he is currently 15th in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne.

Louis, 26, who is also the grandson of Grace Kelly, wed his college sweetheart, Marie Chevallier, in the civil ceremony on Friday, with the bride in a simple ivory jumpsuit and her hair swept back in a pretty clip.

The couple was married by Monaco’s mayor George Marsan and they then had an informal garden reception in the Prince’s Palace.

Marie’s dress designer Rosa Clara shared a picture of the happy couple on their Instagram yesterday – showing off her beautiful jumpsuit.
