Who is Lonna Wells? Taco Bell Employee Fired, Wiki, Bio

Lonna Wells is an Arkansas p*rn star who started working at Taco Bell to pay her bills during the pandemic but now claims she was fired by the fast-food chain after a ‘God-fearing customer’ complained about her.

Taco Bell employee Lonna Wells is out of a job after ticking off a co-worker, who filed a complaint about Lonna’s past … as a porn star, but Taco Bell claims that’s not what happened.

Lonna claims the fast-food joint in Newport, Arkansas canned her less than a week after she landed the job. She’d reportedly started working at Taco Bell after she stopped doing porn so she’d avoid catching COVID-19.

Wells was no slouch in her previous job — she’s been featured on PornHub … and scored two AVN Award nominations.

She told the Daily Beast she was about to clock into work when her manager called to drop the hammer. Wells is pissed because she says she told the hiring manager about her sex work during the interview and even asked if it was going to be a problem.

Taco Bell, however, claims Wells was not fired for her porn creds. Instead, the company says, “This former team member worked for a franchise location and the franchisee has informed us that the accusations made are not accurate and that she was instead terminated for violation of their policies and procedures.”

The Bell isn’t saying which policies and procedures she violated. Lonna’s now raising money online, claiming she was wrongfully terminated.

Lonna Wells Age

Lonna Wells is 33 years old.

What happened to Lonna Wells?

Lonna Wells wanted to continue providing for her husband and kids, so started picking up shifts at the fast-food restaurant. She claims in an interview with The Daily Beast that she told managers about her career when she was hired and that they assured her it wouldn’t be a problem.

But after less than a week on the job, she claims she was fired because a customer complained to the restaurant about her being there.

It’s unclear how the customer knew about her former profession – if they recognized her or if they’d been told by someone else who did. The Beast article gives no further details of the complainant and Taco Bell has not commented on it.

Wells says she was left in the lurch immediately.

‘They couldn’t have even given me a heads-up or waited until I got there to say something.

‘I just started bawling. I don’t know if it was because I was upset, or I was ticked, or a little bit of both,’ she says.

What we know so far about Lonna Wells

The Daily Beast reviewed pay stubs confirming her employment and corroborated her story with her husband, who is very supportive of her s*x work, as well as another employee, who wished to remain anonymous due to fear of retaliation. The firing took Wells by surprise, she says, because she’d even disclosed her s*x work to her manager, April Garcia, during the interview process and was told that it wouldn’t pose a problem.

“I was very open about it and said, ‘Hey, this is what I do as a job right now and I’ve been doing it since 2017, is this going to cause any problems?’ And I was told by the manager, ‘No, it’s not going to cause any problems. Whatever you do in your spare time is your business,’” Wells recalls.

Taco Bell did not immediately respond to inquiries on Tuesday morning. Wells says she was putting in ‘nine-hour shifts’ at the restaurant. It’s unclear exactly how many days she worked there. Wells says that her work slowed down during the pandemic because the p*rn industry had to come to a sudden halt.

Lonna Wells career in the adult industry

Wells started stripping in 2010, only to step away three years later after marrying her husband and having kids. In 2017, she began shooting amateur internet p*rn to earn extra money for the family. Raised in a Pentecostal home, she says she was particularly hurt by the customer invoking Christianity.

Her work has been featured on PornHub, netting Wells two AVN Award nominations — known colloquially as the “Oscars of Porn.” Wells also maintains an OnlyFans page. She also claims that she had informed the hiring manager, April Garcia, about her experience as an online sex worker during the interview process and says that she was told that cause any problems.

However, Taco Bell, according to Daily Beast, denied firing Wells for being a porn star. Although they fired her, it was due to a violation of the store’s “policies and procedures.” “This former team member worked for a franchise location and the franchisee has informed us that the accusations made are not accurate and that she was instead terminated for violation of their policies and procedures,” Taco Bell said in a statement.

Lonna Wells GoFundMe

My name is Lonna Wells. You may know me from adult entertainment sites or just as a friend or my social media presence. I am a content creator and a cam performer. I took a job at my local Taco Bell to make ends meet during this pandemic and to have something to replace the shoots that were canceled due to covid-19. During my interview, I was very upfront about the work that I did and had been doing since 2017. I was very thorough about doing adult work on the internet and about why I was needing the job. A little over a week later, a disgruntled employee filed a complaint with my manager. She used religion and Christianity to push adult work like I was Satan in a drive thru window. Where I live at in Arkansas, we are still considered the Bible belt and this type of work is frowned upon. After a week to a week and a half of being employed, I received a phone call 30 minutes before clock in time that I was let go. After asking why, it was explained that they thought having me work for them would be bad for business and let me know that there was a complaint made. I asked to speak to someone higher up like corporate and was told that nothing can be done. I live in a state where you can get terminated for anything and it still be legal. They don’t even have to tell you why you were let go. The only things they can’t discriminate against is: disabilities, sex, race, religion, pregnancy, or if a female has had an abortion. So, therefore, I can’t do anything about it. I was working 9-9 and a half hour shifts without breaking, would come in when they needed me, would volunteer for extra hours, and never had any complaints. After a few days there I was even given the inventory list and was responsible for the truck. I’m not looking for pity, to make a name out of this. I’m wanting you to hear my story and help stop the discrimination against adult entertainers. The gofundme will help replace what I lost and help with bills, food, and go towards trying to get the Arkansas State laws changed to protect everyone from here that’s in our industry.
