Kenneth Keen is the husband of Fiona Hill. Hill previously served in the Trump administration as Principal Director for Europe and Russia in the National Security Council. She resigned in July 2019.

Hill worked as a tutor at Cabot House, where she and Keen met for the first time. The residency is described on the University’s website as an “academic community of approximately 380 students and tutors, professors and associate researchers.”The newsletter does not explain if Keen was also a tutor or if they worked together on specific projects. It simply means that Cabot House is “the place where she met her husband Kenneth Keen and then married.”

Hill has a doctorate. She went on to Harvard history in 1998. She first moved to the United States after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Hill’s father was a miner and his mother was a midwife, said the British newspaper The Times. She grew up in Bishop Auckland in northeastern England.
