Keith Johnson, 43, was last seen in the 1800 block of Tobias Drive, Southeast. Three days later, police said they discovered a large amount of blood in the rear and the front passenger seat, according to WRC-TV.
Authorities in Washington DC seek public help to find a man who disappeared on July 13, three days before a woman suspectedly disappeared.
The forensic test confirmed that the blood belonged to Johnson. The wallet was reportedly recovered from the vehicle, and police said there was no activity on their bank accounts.
In a press release, the Metropolitan Police Department described Johnson as a “critical missing person” and said he disappeared under “suspicious circumstances”.
Three days after Johnson disappeared, on July 16, 34-year-old Olga Ooro was spotted walking away from her apartment in 300 blocks of northwestern Massachusetts Avenue. It hasn’t been seen since.
It was reported that Ooro disappeared shortly after returning home from dinner with his younger son and boyfriend. According to the WRC, although the boyfriend and Ooro have a family history of violence, the boyfriend is reportedly cooperating with the police’s ongoing investigation.
Reports show that Ooro’s father came to his apartment to get his grandson over the weekend and found the boy alone. The police said that the child was safe and was in the care of his father.
The Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement that Ooro was a “critical missing person” because they believed he was lost under “suspicious circumstances.”
Although Johnson and Ooro’s disappearances are considered suspect, there is no indication that their cases are linked.
Johnson is defined as 6 feet, 1 inch, weighing about 210 pounds with brown feet and mixed gray hair.
Ooro, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes, weighs about 125 pounds.
