Kamille Cupcake McKinney Updates

Police, who were looking for a three-year-old kidnapped girl from Alabama, were excited on Wednesday in a residential area of Birmingham, a few miles from where she was last seen.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office had confirmed to CBS 42 that Camomile McKinney’s ‘Magdalena’ had been found, but the Birmingham Police Department said minutes later that this was wrong and that they were still looking for the child.

Sheriff Mark Pettway later told CBS 42 that he had received false information from his officers that they had found it.

Late Wednesday morning, agents acting at the tip of a bounty hunter established a circle along the 2700 blocks of Jefferson Avenue and searched the area for chamomile.
