Jemma Mi Mi is an Australian professional netball player. She currently plays at the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the Queensland Firebirds. Mi Mi started playing netball when the family settled in Brisbane and made her debut for the Firebirds in 2017, signing with the Brisbane-based franchise in late 2016.
She played high-level touch rugby and represented the Australian under-15 and Queensland under-21 netball teams. She has represented Australia at the Netball World Youth Cup. Mi Mi has played 11 of 29 matches in her first two seasons at the Firebirds.
In 2019, Jemma was named in the Australia A Development team to New Zealand A and England A in a tournament in Auckland.
Jemma was the only Indigenous athlete in the Suncorp Super Netball league, as of 2019. She has been with the Firebirds for 3 years since she made her debut in 2017. Mi Mi went to the Queensland University of Technology, where she did a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology although her bachelor’s degree has been put on hold. She works as a part-time as co-ordinator of the Diamond Spirit program, the program is aimed at empowering indigenous girls in remote communities through netball.

She is the daughter of Jim. Her father Jim grew up on a cattle farm near Gayndah, northwest of Brisbane. Mi Mi has a sister whom she says live only five minutes away from her. While Her grandmother lives in Gayndah. Jemma says that she has not met her family due to the Covid-19 lockdown and hopes to meet them when the lockdown is over.
