According to CBS Austin, Broussard worked at the Cracker Barrel in Buda, Texas. Broussard has worked at this location since 2015. Co-workers told the station that Broussard was away from work only after giving birth on 26 November. According to Broussard’s Facebook page, She studied veterinary technician in college.

Broussard is a white female, who is 5’3” and weighs 150 pounds. She has long, dark hair with highlights. It’s unknown what clothing she was wearing when she vanished.

Police say Broussard was last seen after leaving his son at Cowan Elementary School in South Austin.
Heidi Broussard and her 2-week-old daughter Margot Carey were last seen Thursday at 7:30 a.m. when Broussard dropped off another child at Cowan Elementary School. Police believe they returned to their home near West William Cannon Drive and South First Street afterward, but they haven’t been seen since.
On Friday we talked to him at a T-Mobile store where he tried to get cell phone records, everything he says to retrieve Heidi and Margot. “If you see a great mother with a baby walking or in a suspicious truck or car or something, just call someone,” Carey pleaded.
CBS Austin contacted several friends and family on Friday. His colleagues at Cracker Barrel in Buda say that Boussard has been unemployed since the birth of his son.
Austin police had no information on the case on Friday night.

In addition to the details provided by police, her friends say online that when Broussard’s husband arrived home, her vehicle, purse and baby bag were all there but the door was wide open and she and the baby were missing. Police have not confirmed that.
