Ginger Luckey is a California-based financial analyst and fiancée of Florida U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz.
Gaetz, a 38-year-old member of the House Judicial Committee, sparked excitement on Twitter when he proposed to his 26-year-old girlfriend on Wednesday evening, December 30. Fox News presenter and ex-judge Jeanine Pirro, who attended the meeting, tweeted a photo congratulating the couple.
The photo, shared around 20:30, showed Gaetz embracing his new fiancee and “Congressman @mattgaetz asked and Ginger said” yes. ”

The tweet has garnered more than 25,000 likes since then and calls for a mixed bag of responses from support to criticism.
Though Gaetz has said in the past that he likes to keep his private life private, Twitter users quickly identified his relationship with his future spouse as Ginger Luckey, and especially with American entrepreneur Palmer Luckey.
“Apparently, this is Ginger Luckey, the sister of right-wing donor and former Facebook administrator Palmer Luckey,” wrote one user.

Defining himself on his website as “President Trump’s tireless advocate and vision of the United States,” Gaetz has gained a reputation as a polarizing figure in recent months. According to his official page, Gaetz has been named “Most Trump Congressman in Trump’s Washington” by GQ Magazine and “Most Trump Congressman” by Rolling Stone – “considering badges of honor” titles.
Other than that, which Gaetz tweeted on December 10, there are very few public photos of Luckey and her representative.

In early 2020, when he revealed that his ex-girlfriend had adopted his 19-year-old brother Nestor Galban as his son, Gaetz came to the attention, thanking Pirro for his cries on Twitter and wrote: “Thank you for sharing this moment. Judge with us! ”
Luckey has not publicly commented on the interaction on any of the social media platforms.
Luckey is a Financial Analyst at Apeel, a Company Dedicated to Reduce ‘Food Waste’
Luckey has been working at Apeel, a California-based company dedicated to reducing food waste for the past four years, according to LinkedIn. Since June of this year, he has been in his current role, a financial analyst position described as “Analyst, Sales Operations and Activation”.
According to Apeel’s website, the company “made [our mission] to build a barrier that could be applied to fruit and vegetables using edible materials that could slow the rate of spoilage.”
Luckey leads LinkedIn “Sales Operations team supporting sales activation, business analysis and tools for the commercial team.”
The page continues “Manages sales forecasting processes, provides dashboards and reports to the sales team, and reports to company stakeholders on team performance.”
Luckey used to be a sailing coach
Luckey worked as a sailing coach at Long Beach Alamitos Bay Yacht Club from 2008-2013, according to LinkedIn.
Working with high school students, LinkedIn said, “helping them develop and develop their racing skills both in the bay and in open ocean waters.”
The pages “planned and integrated daily training sessions, on-water exercises, practice races, as well as boat racing coaching at local and national events.”

Luckey’s LinkedIn also states that he studied abroad in Italy and France.
