Faith Daniels Media career
Daniels began her media career in the early 1980s, working at WTRF-TV in Wheeling, West Virginia. It was at WTRF where she met her husband, Dean Daniels. Daniels also worked for ABC and CBS affiliates in Peoria, Illinois; WBNS-TV in Columbus, Ohio; and also at WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
How did NBC originally get this footage of the cheerleader party? It’s a not-so-funny story. Trump agreed to appear on Faith Daniels’ show after he kissed the married news anchor on the lips at a public event while her husband’s back was turned. https://t.co/0WpRYqLAFE

She began her national news career when she joined CBS News as the anchor of the CBS Morning News in the spring of 1985. At age 28, she was one of the youngest national news anchors. She joined NBC in June 1990 as the news anchor for Today and became the anchor of the now-defunct News at Sunrise. In 1991, she became the first journalist to host her own national daily talk show A Closer Look (which was later renamed Faith Daniels), which aired on NBC at 12:30 ET; among the show’s prominent interviews was with Stacey Koon–one of the police officers involved in the beating of Rodney King–on October 24, 1992.
A 1992 episode of A Closer Look includes footage of financier Jeffrey Epstein, 10 years prior to his conviction as a felony sex offender, attending a party at the home of Donald Trump. Trump is seen grabbing a woman toward him and patting her behind, and Epstein and Trump converse with evident familiarity. In an on-camera interview Daniels conducted with Trump, Daniels objects to being grabbed and kissed by Trump.

Video of President Donald Trump partying with accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein at a Mar-a-Lago party in 1992 was filmed for a segment on NBC’s ‘A Closer Look, whose host claimed that Trump allowed cameras into the resort after kissing her while her husband’s back was turned.
Morning Joe unearthed the clip of Epstein and Trump chatting and watching women dance on Wednesday, just days after the president claimed he was never friends with the fellow billionaire who was arrested for sex trafficking last week.
Additional footage soon emerged from the remainder of A Closer Look’s 30-minute segment, in which host Faith Daniels recounts how Trump ended up on her show.
‘I don’t even know why I’m on the show except we want to get you good ratings. And you are, you’re going to get big ratings,’ Trump tells Daniels in the old interview.
