After on Week long search mission with 5 counties more than eleven teams joined in the hunt for Jo end with a search on jo on a rock, who was airlifted to hospital. A Search team member Taylor said more than 70 people have been searching for him in the mountains.

Eugene Jo Found Alive Reports
The Montrose Search & Rescue Team tweeted Saturday afternoon: ‘Search team reports they have found 73 year old Mr Jo, after a week in the wilderness, he is alive! No other details yet.’

They added Jo had been found ‘on a search assignment’, writing: ‘They located Mr Jo in Devils Canyon, Air Rescue 5 was called in to do a hoist rescue, and Mr Jo was transported to a local hospital.’
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department called the rescue ‘great news’, adding ‘awesome job’ to the rescuers.
