Desmond Logan (Ex-cop who rap*d women) Biography – Desmond Logan Wiki

Desmond Logan, 35, pleaded guilty last September to two civil rights offenses during his time as a Chattanooga police officer. As part of his plea deal, he also admitted guilt in sexually assaulting two other women.
Desmond was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Wednesday after admitted sexually assaulting four women while on duty and in uniform, sometimes in his patrol car, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
The four incidents took place between 2015 and 2018. Prosecutors also said a fifth woman came forward with allegations that Logan raped her in 2015, but she did not report the crime.
Court documents say Logan pleaded guilty to the events that took place on January 2, 2016 and June 12, 2018, according to the Chattanooga Times-Free Press.
In the 2016 incident, Logan was working on a safety detail at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga when he wanted to get into D.H.’s passenger seat and get into his car. He directed D.H. to drive to an “empty and isolated parking lot” where he took off his treadmill and put it on the woman’s leg. When he tried to escape, he prevented him, “convincing him to rape (the victim) and possibly kill him”, according to court files.
In this case, Logan let the woman go without sexually harassing her.
“He didn’t rape me, but he mocked and scared me, and I know I’m deeply affected,” the woman later wrote in a letter to the court.
Logan was handcuffed in 2018 and arrested K.B.V. and then he took him to another “empty and isolated parking lot” that he raped.

The other two events – July 31, 2015 and May 30, 2016 – were similar to K.B.V. The women were arrested, then taken to an isolated area and raped.
Logan’s lawyers demanded a lower sentence, citing his regret, losing his job, and accepting responsibility.
“I’m sorry for all the trouble he caused,” he told the court. “… I’m not a bad person. I made mistakes. I never hurt anyone.”
“I’ve done something wrong – moral things are wrong [but] I didn’t hurt anyone,” he said, according to the Times-Free Press.
However, the prosecutors and their victims did not see it that way. In a sentencing request earlier this month, prosecutors called it “a model of predatory behavior”.
“He went out of sight to avoid detection and selected victims he thought no one would believe, essentially creating situations where any victim would go against his word if he could prove brave enough to report criminal behavior.” tell me. “The defendant avoided accountability for so long.”
The fifth woman, N.S., appeared after Logan’s allegation and her story was included in her sentencing request. She said she and her boyfriend spent a night on Logan’s sofa in 2015. Her boyfriend left early to go to work and told female investigators that Logan woke up while raping her.
“I was worried that no one would believe me or that people would think that I would somehow be blamed and destroyed the life of a good man,” he wrote in a victim impact statement submitted to court for punishment. “He was engaged at the time and I was really worried that I would be perceived as the reason for this.”
The woman, who has been a police officer since then, wrote, “I’m always wondering (if I had reported her), would I stop it and prevent others from being attacked,” wrote.
Chattanooga Police Chief David Roddy did not admit that Logan “did not hurt anyone.”
“It is despicable and condemned to stand before a judge and say that you did not hurt anyone.” “Desmond Logan harmed many of his families, officers, and friends outside of the department, but he injured no more than the women he was raped.”
At the end of 20 years, Logan will be detained for three years and will have to be registered as a sex offender.
