Who is Daoyou Feng? Atlanta Area Spa Shooting Victim
Daoyou Feng is identified as one of the victims who were shot dead in the Atlanta-area spa shooting. at a spa in Woodstock, Cherokee County, Georgia, and Atlanta officials said it is “extremely likely” the suspect opened fire at two more spas about an hour later. The three shootings left 8 people dead.
According to reports, six of the victims were Asian, and police are investigating whether the shootings were fueled by a racist motive.
Sheriff Cherokee County Frank Reynolds said the first call came in at 4:55 p.m. March 16 for a shooting. Our deputies responded and found “multiple gunshot victims,” he said. They quickly identified the suspect from video footage. They put that information out on social media shortly thereafter, and members of the family came forward to tell law enforcement that the suspect “maybe their son, and so we met with them.”

Atlanta: Robert Aaron Long Shooting
According to the Deputies, Long entered Young’s Asian Massage Parlor along Georgia Highway 92 and opened fire at about 5 pm, shooting five people and killing four of them in Woodstock, an Atlanta suburb near Acworth. The FBI is also involved with the investigation.

In Atlanta, two shootings occurred within minutes at two separate spas across the street from one another about an hour after the Woodstock shooting.
Atlanta Police were in discussions with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office about the shootings and working to determine whether one shooter or multiple shooters was involved, they said during a brief press conference. They later said it was – Long – the shooter at all three locations.

The family was “very distraught and they were very helpful in this apprehension,” Reynolds said. Authorities were able to track his phone. A position was set up “to intercept our suspect.” They stopped the vehicle to prevent pursuit and took the suspect into custody.
