“During the flight, Tilton allegedly placed his hand on the victim’s bare calf. Tilton continued to touch the victim’s thigh, and eventually began rubbing the victim’s genitals over the victim’s shorts. The victim did not react, or look at Tilton, out of shock and fear,” prosecutors said.

They said the victim left to go to the bathroom in order to avoid further contact, but the sexual behavior continued when he returned to his seat.

While the FBI did not release the name of the college, Christian Bible College of Louisiana on Paris Ave. lists Tilton as its president. He is also an acting pastor at a church in the Irish Channel.

The teen was with a group of students on a religious trip to Israel, and Tilton accompanied them as an official guide, giving speeches.

Arrested

Federal agents have arrested the president of a Louisiana bible college as he tried to get off of a plane. The pastor was arrested when the flight arrived in Newark Saturday, and charged with one count of abusive sexual contact. Federal prosecutors in New Jersey said Tilton touched the young man inappropriately and forced the victim’s hand to touch him in a sexual manner.
