Police today named the man who was stabbed to death while calling the community to help bring his family’s murderer to justice.


Christopher Allbury-Burridge, 33, died on Friday, December 10, less than 2:10 a.m. at the attack scene in Kingsley, Northampton.


A post-mortem study conducted by an Interior Department pathologist in Leicester revealed that Christopher died from a single stab wound in his chest.


Today, Christopher’s grieving mother, Elaine, paid homage to her son as he hunted more than 50 detective killers.


He said: ‘As a family, Christopher’s loss ruined us. This would be the 34th birthday of the month. His career has been spent in serving and caring for others.

Northampton Police said more than 50 detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit were working tirelessly on the investigation, conducting house-to-house investigations, forensic searches, and trolling of CCTV footage in the area.


Detective Chief Inspector Joe Banfield of the EMSOU team said the investigation was proceeding quickly and urged anyone with knowledge to come forward.


He added: ‘We are following a series of investigations and have received excellent support from local residents.
