The young lady injured before halftime is Chamberlain Smith, and she does a wonderful job of taking photos at games. She is from Ringgold, and the Times Free Press has used many, many of her outstanding photos. Our thoughts and prayers are obviously with her.

Chamberlain Smith Injury
On November 16, 2019, Chamberlain was injured and was unconscious when Brian Herrien, Georgia, ran, ran away and met her during the first half of an NCAA college football game against Auburn. I was kneeling near the 5-yard line doing camera work while Herrien’s lower body collided with the area of his head, where he held the camera.
She was struck back and remained motionless on the ground for several minutes in front of where the Auburn student section is located. She was loaded on a stretcher and her eyes were open as she was taken out of the field. It could be seen communicating with the medical staff while they took it out.
Smith had a bruise in his right eye when he was removed from the field and transported to the East Alabama Medical Center for treatment.
My heart goes out to her and her family I prayed for her well being as we took a knee ??❤️ https://t.co/L8Vmz3Ffse
