Marcel Theo Hall, better known by his stage name Biz Markie, is an American rapper, beatboxer, DJ, actor, comedian, television personality and spokesperson. He is best known for his 1989 single “Just a Friend”, which became a Top 40 hit in several countries.

Markie, are reported to have been in the hospital for a few weeks after a serious illness.

Rapper representatives confirmed that hospitalization to TMZ was not related to the coronavirus, but was triggered by complications of type 2 diabetes.

The condition of his condition is currently uncertain, but it is said to “receive the best care from an incredible team of medical professionals” at a hospital in the state of Maryland.

TMZ reported that Markie’s representative confirmed that he was not in the hospital due to coronavirus and that he was hospitalized because he had Type II Diabetes. He is now in a hospital in Maryland and exactly as he knows. However, it has been stated that it can be serious. “We take the best care from an incredible team of medical professionals and stay positive about the result,” said the representative.

We were diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2010 and talked to New York Daily News about their experience in 2013. He said he could get 385 to 244 pounds thanks to a new diet and exercise. “I’m walking. I’m doing the treadmill, walking around the mall,” he said. “I’m doing some exercise with my stomach, not so much. Enough to take the engine to cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha-cha! Vroooommmmm.” In a later interview with ABC News, he said he decided to act on his weight for “I wanted to live”. “Since I had to be diabetic, it would make diabetes worse if I don’t make changes.”

The rapper representative says that the disease is not coronavirus but complications related to Type II diabetes that Biz has been suffering for years. Currently in a Maryland area hospital and his condition is uncertain, but it seems serious.

“He takes the best care from a great team of medical professionals, and we continue to be positive about the outcome,” said the representative.

“Just A Friend” rapper, born in Marcel Theo Hall, lost about 150 pounds in 2014 to improve his health about diabetes diagnosis.
