Tyson was president and CEO of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Hospitals, known as Kaiser Permanente, one of the leading integrated providers of health care and nonprofit health plans in the United States. With an annual operating income of nearly $ 80 billion, Kaiser Permanente serves 12.3 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia. Under Tyson’s leadership, Kaiser Permanente continues to lead and set the expectation of providing affordable, affordable and high-quality medical care and improving the health of its members and the 68 million residents in their communities.
