Allison Murphy Wiki – Allison Murphy Biography

A Florida woman shockingly threw her dog from the second floor of a motel’s balcony after local officials responded to a call that she attacked a maid after threatening to jump from her.

After 35-year-old Allison Murphy was detained at a Motel 6 in Daytona Beach on Monday, she was accused of cruelty to animals and violently resisting an officer.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Department shared body camera footage of Murphy’s arrest – and the moment he threw the German Shepherd.

Lawmakers and Daytona Beach police arrived at the motel on 2992 West International Speedway Boulevard at noon after staff called and said the woman was standing on the railing. They said he threatened to jump and at the same time attacked one of the motel maids.

The video shows the moment the officers knocked on Murphy’s motel room door over and over before the woman opened the door.

Murphy and the leashed German Shepherd rush out of the room before the female grabs the dog and hurls it over the railing.

The officers quickly toss the woman to the ground and threaten her with Tase if she doesn’t stop resisting the arrest.

Murphy is heard telling the officers that he is not afraid, and shows no concern about the well-being of the dog he threw.

One may hear an officer asking, ‘Is that dog okay?

‘Yes. He started running and I tried to catch him, ‘another officer quickly responded to the arresting officers.

The officers put Murphy in a squad car before teaming up with the two departments to discuss the wild scene.

An officer explained to the group: ‘The dog was limp and picked it up and we all thought it would probably bring it back in, but he immediately threw it onto the track,’ he said.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office shared that when they were released, the dog stood up and was arrested by the survivors.

Murphy’s miracle dog was detained by the Volusia County Animal Service. Miracle was taken to the Atlantic Animal Hospital in Port Orange for emergency assessment.

While recovering from the miracle shot, an X-ray revealed that a sewing needle was inserted into his right thigh. She is recovering with Miracle Animal Services after a successful surgery to remove the needle.

Miracle custody petition will be submitted in courts in the coming weeks.
